Georgia Aquarium parking is simplest in the attached official garage, but the entrance address is different from the Aquarium’s main street address. In August 2026, the official rate was $30 for nonmembers and $20 for members.

The garage is convenient, cashless, and close to the entrance. Downtown event traffic and weekend demand are the real complications, so route to the correct entrance and arrive earlier than the ticket window suggests.

The official Georgia Aquarium parking page lists $30 for nonmembers and $20 for members. Enter 357 Luckie Street NW in your navigation app for the parking deck. The Aquarium itself is at 225 Baker Street NW, which can route you to the wrong curb for garage entry.

The deck has entrances on Luckie Street and Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard, approximately 1,600 spaces, and covered access toward the main entrance. Photograph your level’s animal marker before leaving the car.

Should you prepay for parking?

Prepaying removes one decision on arrival and can reserve limited online inventory. The voucher must be scanned when entering and exiting and does not allow re-entry. Keep it separate from the admission barcode so you do not search through screenshots at the gate.

If online parking shows sold out, onsite spaces may still be available. The Aquarium also points visitors to World of Coca-Cola and nearby private lots, but an Aquarium prepaid pass is not valid in those decks.

Cheaper parking near Georgia Aquarium

Private lots around Centennial Olympic Park can be cheaper on an ordinary weekday and much more expensive during a concert, convention, Falcons game, or major downtown event. Compare the final event rate and closing time, not just the sign at the driveway.

For a family with a stroller, the attached garage may still be worth the premium. For two adults visiting several downtown attractions, a centrally located public lot can work if it allows the car to remain parked for the entire day.

MARTA and rideshare alternatives

The Aquarium is roughly a 10–15 minute walk from Peachtree Center or Civic Center on the Red/Gold line and from GWCC/CNN Center on the Blue/Green line. The base MARTA fare is currently $2.50 each way; review the MARTA site for service alerts.

Rideshare works well when your hotel is already downtown. Choose a pickup point away from the most congested curb after closing time, especially if Centennial Olympic Park is hosting an event.
